Mini Milk Cartons and Carrier

Made several sets of these for Christmas gifts for the co-workers…. I made so many different sizes of the cartons, including buying them at Michaels (toobig). I have Milk cartons laying all over my desk…lol… I finally decided on these as they are Mini and wont take a whole bag of candy to fill up… Subscribe to this site if you want a notice when I post the Tutorial (probably next week). They aren’t to difficult to make, just takes time…

Gift Card Holder

These past couple of months have been very busy for me. Besides learning I am now a Diabetic and going thru the DR visits and changing the way I eat, all of the Holiday stuff begins. I am preparing now for Christmas, since Thanksgiving is over, with an easy Gift Card  Holder…. The best gift is a Gift card! They always will get what they want, not something that might end up in a closet somewhere.

You can download the PDF Tutorial for the Christmas Gift Card Holder here.

Fall is coming…

Fall is upon us and the Harvest is too. I love this time of yr *almost* as much as Christmas time. the smell of Pumpkin pies baking in the oven, Cinnamon Apples….MMMMMM….

The card today is a combination of a Scene I bought from “From the Heart Stamps” and Stampin Up! items.  I am sure there are SU stamps that you could make your own but I liked this one for a quick card.  The SU paper, inks, burlap ribbon, markers and the Painted Harvest stamp set were perfect for this Fall-feeling card and a “deep-thought” from Mr. Stevenson.

Please leave a comment.  I would love to hear from you

Making of Christmas

there is nothing like decorating a Christmas tree. You feel the ‘Christmasy’ spirit and know the BIG day is coming soon. The tree and decorations on this card are made with the ‘Christmas Staircase Dies’ with Glitter sprinkled on the tree. I used 2 stamp sets, Christmas in the Making and Ready for Christmas.

2018 Calendar

Making the 2018 Calendar I was needing a stamp set to go on it. ‘You’ve Got Style’ seem to fit the bill, so to speak. Both a Calendar and a positive affirmation…. win-win!  🙂

This desktop calendar is really easy to make and stand up nicely with the easel in place. It is a standard A2 Card(4.25″ x 5.50″), fold at the top instead of the side. Dimensions for the easel is listed below on the picture. the easiest way to put the adhesive on the inside bottoms is to place TomBow Glue on one side, adhere to the calendar base and then glue the other end of the easel, fold the calendar base on the glue. This way it lines up perfect everytime.

A Bella Birthday Card

I love the Bella & Friends stamp set. Probably because it has a dog on it 🙂  DOGS RULE! Anyway, I thought I would complete a tutorial of sorts for this cute card. Let’s get started.

This picture shows the dimensions to cut. Cardstock used is Dapper Denim, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake.

I used the Brushstrokes stamp with Dapper Denim Ink to produce the background of stripes on the cut piece 5 x 3.75

I used whisper white to finish the edges of the striped cardstock.

I stamped Bella with the bird and balloon using Black ink to the 4 x 2.75 cardstock. I then used SU markers to color the image. You can color anyway you like but these are the marker colors I used. The sentiment is from the Birthday Delivery stamp set.

Bella – Crumb Cake ink with Soft Suede highlights

Collar – Real Red

Balloon – Daffodil Delight

Bird – Tempting Turquoise

Bird Beak – Pumpkin Pie

Sentiment- Black or Early Expresso, either would look nice.

While you have the markers out. Cut a piece of very vanilla 4 x 5.25. Stamp Bella with her bone and color her the same as the outside of the Card Bella. Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Birthday Delivery stamp set in Black ink or you could use Early Expresso ink, either would look nice.

The bow is SU 3/8” Grosgrain Striped Ribbon in Blue. I used the ’10 second bow maker’ and made a double loop bow. This bow maker is AWESOME and making nice consistent-sized bows a breeze. I love it! Best thing since sliced bread 😉  hope you enjoyed this tutorial. This card can be used for other occasions by just changing the sentiment(s).

State Cards

Not a great picture but this card will go to someone on my FB ‘Stampin Joy to the World’ card list. We send out encouragement cards to each other every month. Its fun!  I came up with this one by using WM Squared State kits. I intend to make several different ‘state cards’ and get them out next week. Here ‘s the Texas card.
